I built this sailboat, as I mentioned before, during my military service at the border company Pisecna. I chose this model because I thought it would be similar to the Mayflover. After opening the box, however, I was disappointed, as the two models differ only in the stern mirror. The box does show a 1:83 scale on the bottom left, but I believe that if I compare the size of the Mayflower to the plans for this ship, it is 1:96 scale. Nevertheless, it's a nice model, and I think nicely built. Plus, it has lasted me without repairs until now. Maybe it was the fact that it hasn't moved anywhere, it's from my parents' secretary to a display case in my apartment, where it remains to this day. I have weighed the model during the build and have tested that if some additional rudder is added, adjusted properly, the model can be launched downwind and floats beautifully. I have the Mayflower elevated the same way.
