These guns carriage are of the English type according to plans from the ship HMS Victory. At the bottom of the guns carriage, you can glue a reinforcement to increase the contact area with the deck, which is not visible from the side view. There are holes drilled all through which can be used to attach the carriage to the deck by nails. They are made to fit exactly in, making it easy to produce a great result.
