It is a model of one of a series of 7 ships built in the USA in the late 18th century. Of these, the USS Constitution was the most famous and was nicknamed OLD Ironsides.
This Constitution model is much more simplified compared to the 1:96 model, matching the detail work in this scale. The kit includes plastic sails and a plan for the ship.
