These gun carriages are of the pivoting carronade type, designed according to plans from USS Constitution. At the base of each carriage, you can attach a reinforcement to increase the contact area with the deck, which remains hidden from a side view. Holes are drilled to allow the carriage to be secured to the deck using nails. The carriages fit together precisely, enabling you to achieve an excellent result with simple assembly.
