    Heller began producing this beautiful model of the Mediterranean Chebeka sometime in the 1960s. The model is based on the plans of the Le Requin. A monograph of this ship was published by the French Maritime Museum. According to this book you can approach the model of the real ship, especially the rigging. The model has wonderful details of carving decoration, especially on the stern of the ship. In 2012, Heller published a reissue of the kit.
    The model contains high quality and detailed moldings with beautiful ornamentation, molded sails, threads and plan including a complete description of assembly and rigging.
