A beautiful model of a double-decked liner built in 1650. The original ship was 63 m long on the waterline and also 63 m high. The manufacturer often gives two scales produced - 1:150 and 1:200. However, the length of the model clearly determines the 1:150 scale. The ship is very similar to Le Phenix. It has a completely identical hull at the base, but a higher aft superstructure by a canopy and a different layout of the rear superstructures. The rich ornamentation with carved ornaments on the 3 rows of rear balconies is complemented by the Siren statue on the forepeak. The model faithfully depicts the ornamentation and the moulded details are clear and clean. The kit includes, in addition to the ship mouldings, plastic sails, flags, thread, flag stickers and a detailed plan. This model is starting to be built by "petule71" on Modelforum in October 2009, link HERE. It is being produced in two versions. Standard and exclusive. The exclusive package includes 2 extra brushes and 9 colors of Humbrol , all you need to paint the model. As the plan also states, La Sirene has the same rigging as Le Phenix. You can see that HERE, where at the bottom of the page the model is awarded a Gold Medal from National championship of Ship Models 2012.
