The second ship of the Columbus fleet. The ship was commanded by Martín Alonso Pinzon, and it was from this ship that the "new world", later named after the sailor Amerigo Vespucci, was first seen. It was then that Rodrigo de Triana sighted the island of San Salvador on 12 October 1492. You can see a replica of this ship HERE. There are not only photos of the cruise on this website. But also other technical curiosities and photos of the ship's construction progress.
The base of the hull is the same as the Nina - the lower hull and main deck, but the overall construction is larger. The model is also suitable for beginners
When you buy the kit from HiSModel you get 5% discount on all accessories you can buy during the construction.
