Kit of the classic 74-gun frigate of the French Navy from the Napoleonic Wars built in 1784. The ship was built by King Louis XVI based on the plans of Jaques-Noel Sané. The length of the hull was 64.5 m, the overall length was 85 m, and the width was 30 m.

The model is based on the original plans, which can be found in the French Maritime Museum. The kit includes the moldings of the model, plastic sails and the plan. The ship is very similar to Le Glorieux, differing only in the design of the bow and stern superstructure.

The design of the kit is excellent. I was surprised by the quality of some of the parts, such as the gun carriages. The gun carriage is molded including the central fixing of the gun elevation. There are 3 plastic sail sheets in the kit - a complete set of sails apart from the studding sails. Just a pity that there is not a more detailed plan of the rigging. Which can however be obtained from our company.
