Product detailed description

Description: The Bounty was originally a coal ship sailing along the English coast. It was later purchased by the Admiralty and sent on an expedition to the Pacific in 1787 to bring breadfruit seedlings from Tahiti to feed the settlers in the West Indies. In April 1789, on the way back, there was a revolt, due to the hard and insensitive command of Captain Bligh and the desire of the crew to return to a tropical paradise. The rebels, led by First Officer Fletcher Christian, landed the captain and a handful of loyal men in a small boat and returned to Tahiti with the Bounty. William Bligh may not have been able to do this with humans, but the sailor was great - 3618 nautical miles (6701 km) in 41 days on Portuguese Timor in a boat without supplies, without a map, only with a sextant and a pocket watch, is still one of the greatest naval performances of all time . After their stay in Tahiti, some of the rebels fled the English expedition on the ship HMS Pandora and escaped to the island of Pitcairn, where Bounty burned on the shores of Bounty Bay.

They were not discovered for another 25 years, but were eventually struck by the "shoulder of justice" and brought to justice in England. But their descendants still live on Pitcairn. Bounty is designed for advanced shipbuilders; is designed as a non-floating desktop model.

The bounty has a fuselage of classic wooden construction from laser-cut parts with a plank plating, a wooden deck and superstructures. The kit contains all the wooden, plastic and metal parts needed to complete the model, mock-up accessories, tarpaulins, etc.
