History on Wikipedia: HERE
The galleon Half Moon belonged to the Dutch East India Company, and in 1609, under the command of Captain Henry Hudson, sailed from Amsterdam to the Arctic, then on to Newfoundland, seeking a secret passage northwest to China and India around the northern part of the American continent. On this voyage they named the Hudson River, and laid the foundation to cities such as New York. The ship was eventually destroyed in 1618 during an English attack on Jakarta in the Dutch East Indies.
Pyro's Half Moon model is one of his mini-models, and he produced an entire series, as seen in the attached plan. Also note the selling prices of the models, which were around in the 1950-60s. I already offer some of the models here on the site. The model is quite detailed for being so small.
