This is a model of the sister ship USS Constitution, but currently out of production and difficult to find, rather another collector's rarity. A perfectly crafted model of one of a series of 7 ships built in the USA in the late 18th century. USS United States was probably the second most famous and was nicknamed OLD Wagon. The hull is the same as the Constitution. However, this ship differs by having a covered deck in the rear of the deck above the last 3 guns. It is surrounded only by a railing. This has created an additional accommodation space on the ship, giving it two rows of windows aft of the Constitution.
The model contains high quality and detailed mouldings, moulded sails, threads and plan including a full description of the rigging and rigging. Also ladders made of thin plastic, almost as threads and figures - 20 crew members.
