St. Canute 1:50
Code: 3BB7000Product detailed description
Description: The tug / icebreaker was launched in 1931 under the original name of St. Knud in Frederikshavn, Denmark. He then served reliably in the port of Odense for many years. The 1:50 scale kit is designed for moderately advanced shipbuilders.
St. Canute has a hull of classic wooden construction with plank plating, wooden deck and superstructure. The kit contains all the plastic and wooden parts needed to complete the model, mock-up accessories (eg position lights, anchors, lifebuoys, etc.), a ship's shaft with a bushing and a propeller.
To drive the model, a 500-600 series DC motor, at least a 30 A bidirectional regulator (depending on the motor) with a 6-7 cell NiMH or 2-3S LiPo battery with a capacity of 3-5000 mAh are planned.
In principle, even the most ordinary two-channel RC set is enough to control the basic functions; common standard servo is suitable for rudder control. But for the right modeler, of course, it is an "obligation" to add as many model functions as possible (lights, sound module, etc.), which will require the use of a multi-channel RC kit - and there are never enough channels.
