Material: very fine synthetic fabric
Description: The set consists of 1 printed sheet of flags with full-colour double-sided printing. We print the flags based on historical background available for each model. The shape and size of the flags are determined based on the historical documents, the maritime regulations of each country and the scale of the ship.

Draft scales
The draft scales showed the depth of the ship's draft. For example, if the water level is at the XX mark, the bottom of the ship is submerged to a depth of 20 feet.
In past centuries, Roman numerals were used for draft scales. The digits and space were one-half foot high. Together, the height of the numeral and the height of the space was 1 foot. This made it possible to determine a ship's draught to within half a foot. Keeping track of a ship's draught was very important when loading supplies and goods into a ship, to ensure that all the material was evenly distributed so that the ship did not, for example, list to one side or the other.
