Titanic 1:144
Code: 3BB5010Product detailed description
Description: Titanic, along with sister ships Olympic and Britannic, was at one time the largest and fastest ocean passenger ship in the world. However, his career was only short - on the first transatlantic voyage, he sank on April 15, 1912 after a collision with a glacier. Although the sea was quite calm and the ship sank slowly enough to save all passengers and crew, the lack of lifeboats resulted in one of the largest and most media-famous maritime disasters in history. The 1: 144 scale kit is designed for very advanced shipbuilders who have a spacious enough car to transport a nearly two-meter model to the port.
Titanic has a fuselage of classic wooden construction from laser-cut parts with plank plating, wooden deck and superstructure. The kit contains all the plastic, brass and wooden parts needed to complete the model, mock-up accessories (eg position lights, anchors, lifebuoys, etc.), ship shafts with bushes and ship propellers.
Two DC or 700 series DC motors (or corresponding AC motors), at least 50 A bidirectional regulators (depending on the motors) and two 6-7 cell NiMH, 6-12 V lead or 2-3S LiPo batteries with large capacity.
In principle, even the most ordinary two-channel RC set is enough to control the basic functions; common standard servo is suitable for rudder control. But for the right modeler, of course, it is an "obligation" to add as many model functions as possible (lights, sound module, etc.), which will require the use of a multi-channel RC kit - and there are never enough channels.
