Will Everard 1:67
Code: 3BB6001Product detailed description
Description: Will Everard was the last of a series of 280 ton steel-hulled barges built between 1925 and 1926 for F.T. Everard and sons from Great Yarmouth, UK. For forty years he served to sail around the coast of East Anglia and the English Channel. In the 1950s, it received an auxiliary engine, but in 1967 it was phased out. Fortunately, after a thorough overhaul with the new owner, Overseas Container Ltd. has been sailing the North Sea again since 1976 as a living reminder of the days of sailing. The boat is designed for beginners to intermediate shipbuilders; is designed as a non-floating desktop mockup.
Will Everard has a hull of classic wooden construction from laser-cut parts with a plating partly made of plywood and partly planks, a wooden deck and a superstructure. The kit contains all the plastic and wooden parts needed to complete the model, mock-up accessories (eg position lights, anchor, lifebuoys, tarpaulins, etc.).
