Story model!!
The model was made by the Russian company Zvezda based on the Black Pearl ship from the Pirates of the Caribbean movie, and presented as such. But it probably didn't buy the licensing rights from the owners of the movie, Disney, so it had to start selling it in Western countries where it will achieve the American rights under the name Black Swan. The model differs only in the nose dummy. However, she later came to an agreement with Disney, purchased the rights, and they started producing the Black Pearl again in its original version. And the unneeded version of Black Swan was sold by Zvezda to German Revell, who now sells it under the name Pirate Ship. Nice story!!
The kit was designed in a modern 3D way and therefore according to the reviews the parts fit perfectly. In general, the look, the workmanship and quality of the parts, the included documentation and finally the packaging itself - all of this has been very well rated in various reviews. I was also very impressed by the model's appearance and quality of workmanship.
Nevertheless, I would fault it for a few small things in comparison with the real ship. Firstly - the bell, the bell towers were mostly in the front part of the ship, not in the stern. Also, the rigging could have been more elaborate, since it is as it is - see the notes on the model plans.
I hope to have the opportunity to build this model some day.
